High Country Beer Fest: Not A Swish and Spit Convention
Labor Day is right around the corner, and maybe you’ve already decided on your plans. But if you’re still debating whether to drop in on your parents’ BBQ party, maybe you need a change of plans.
The High Country Beer Fest is coming back for their third year with 55 breweries serving up their best along with food and great tunes! The kickoff for Labor Day begins on Saturday, Sept., 4th! While feasting on local grub, check out music from band such as BPL, The Henhouse Thieves, and The Switch. From 3 p.m. – 7 p.m., brewers from the local Raleigh area and surrounding N.C. area will be there to cater to your thirst buds, and national beer breweries such as Abita Brewing Co., Atlanta Brewing Co., and Magic Hat Brewing Co. will also be there to make your Labor Day that much better!
Oh, and this is an educational event (lol!). There will be demonstrations on hand about pairing beer with food, beer aspects, and brewing. The High Country Beer Fest also will be providing taxi services so nobody should be getting in trouble or hurt. Tipsy Taxi will be providing rides home to patrons of the festival, and if you bring a DD, they get in free. Tickets are still available, guys! $25 in advanced and $30 at the door. This is a good deal for all the beer to sample with food!
For more information, Greystone at Widewaters residents should check out the High Country Beer Fest webpage! They have a Facebook page also for your convenience!
